South Korea's economy grew at a slower pace than expected during the July to September period amid shrinking investment.<br />The central bank says the economy expanded zero-point-six percent on-quarter in the third quarter,... same as second quarter growth and contracting from one percent expansion in the first.<br />Compared to the same period last year, third quarter growth expanded by two percent, slower than previous quarter's two-point-eight percent. <br />Consumption and exports led growth, but investment in business facilities and construction fell by four-point-seven percent on-year and six-point-four percent on-quarter, respectively...driving down overall GDP growth. <br />
